Stanford locals Tabby Robertshaw and Alex Chouler own and run Graze; a delightful Italian slow food cafe tucked behind an unassuming entrance, in Queen Victoria Street.
Greeted by the scent of freshly baked bread and coffee upon entering the small sunlit cafe, one's eye is drawn to the attention to detail invested in every nook and cranny - from the vintage chairs and tables, through to storage jars, vintage jugs, bowls, cookbooks, pots and pans.
Tabby and Alex moved to Stanford to create a subsistance farm but once the opportunity to take over Graze arose, they couldn't resist the opportunity.
Breakfasts range from fresh fruit and muesli, to full English (with Graze flare).
The lunch and dinner menus offer rich Italian influenced fare, from fresh pasta dishes to rib-sticking lamb shank. Remember to book, as Graze is only open 3 days a week.
