Goodluck Homestead is a working farm using regenerative farming practices, therefore no toxic herbicides and pesticides are used. Guests are welcome to wander around the farm, swim and fish in the dams, and meander through the veggie gardens.
What is loadshedding? It refers to the temporary suspension of electricity provided by Eskom, South Africa's electricity provider, to reduce consumption and thereby the load on the national grid. To compensate, South African property owners are turning to solar power, inverters with backup batteries or in some cases generators to keep the power on, wherever feasible.

Absolutely fantastic getaway for two. Incredibly tranquil with breathtaking views from every part of the cottage. The owners have gone through great effort to ensure every aspect of your stay is well taken care of. Tabby (owner) thought of everything! From being welcomed with a fully organic vegetable basket, to having candles, bath salts and even hot tub robes supplied to make you feel utterly pampered on your stay. I would highly recommend the Vineyard Cottage and look forward to visiting again!
