Self Catering Accommodation

Rose Cottage has two en-suite bedrooms furnished with Queen-size beds. The en-suite bathrooms are fitted with a large shower, toilet and basin.

The open plan living area has a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast counter. The kitchen has a sliding window that opens to the outside bar/counter area, for convenience and that indoor outdoor feeling. The lounge is comfortably furnished and leads onto the patio.

The patio has outdoor furniture, a private plunge pool and braai facilities.

Attractions

The farm can be explored on foot or on one's own mountain bike. There is quite a lot of birdlife and while you will see birds at the cottage, the ravine is a good place to see more of them. Hiking is also an option on the farm with a few clear paths to follow. As the farm is not flat, we suggest collecting a two-way radio before going on your walk to ensure that you are able to contact us should you need any help.

The farm borders a river and swimming is the river is permitted. The river has varying depths and brown water. One cannot easily see the bottom unless the sun is shining directly on the water, so diving it not permitted and caution needs to be taken when getting in and out of the water due to loose rocks.
