Little Bushbuck @ Somerset Gift Farm is a self catering house offering accommodation in Swellendam. This breathtakingly beautiful farm is situated just outside the historical town of Swellendam in a lush green valley bordering the foothills of the majestic Langeberg Mountain.

Self Catering Accommodation

Little Bushbuck is a charming studio holiday cottage in Swellendam, right on the water. It has one large open plan room furnished with a double bed and a day bed for a child. An inside bathroom has been added and it is furnished with a shower, basin and toilet.

There is a small eating table and a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, hot plate, kettle, toaster and all cooking and eating utensils. It has a large inside fireplace.

A small patio overlooks the lake. Nearby on the grass banks of the lake is a barbeque area with seating. Along with its magnificent setting above the spring-fed lake, Bushbuck has it own wood-fired hot tub outside from which you can soak up the magnificent views.

Please Note

Please note that Little Bushbuck is located next to the foefie slide so you can expect some walk by traffic on the path behind it and some noise as a result.

Pets

Pets are welcome with prior arrangement and will be charged a fee of R200 per pet.

Experience

The setting is simply idyllic, with stunning 5 star views of the mountain, green pastures where cattle and horses graze, a serene spring-fed lake, and the lovely Buffeljags River which runs the length of the farm.

The farm has ownership rights to a few thousand hectares of pristine mountain ground with trails through indigenous forest and fynbos to magical mountain valleys, waterfalls and rock pools. This truly is a paradise for all.
