Prinskraal is a working farm on the Agulhas plains. The property has recently been renovated as self catering accommodation for up to 12 guests. Large gardens, a busy farmyard and a beautiful, rambling homestead vie with local beaches and nature reserves are available for your enjoyment.

Self Catering Accommodation

The house has four bedrooms with either single or double beds and a bunk bedroom for four children. Bedding, towels and beach towels are provided.

The house has a modern, fully equipped kitchen and the lounge is comfortably furnished with white couches. There is a large dining table to enjoy meals at together. The living area opens onto a patio and garden.

Location

Arniston is 10 minutes drive from the farm. It has excellent beaches for walking and swimming, a picturesque fishing village and several restaurant options. The beautiful De Mond Nature Reserve (Cape Nature) is 10 minutes drive away and is one of the last unspoiled river estuaries on South Africa's coast. It has excellent fishing, hiking, swimming, bird watching, and facilities for picnicking.

The stay with our Argentinian family (11 of us) was an absolute gem. The website with its stunning pictures gives it 100% justice. The house with all its attention to detail gives all the space to be together, but also retreat for peace and quiet, the grounds are big enough for the youngster to play. The herb garden inspired to new ideas in the kitchen where the ladies had enough space and all the equipment they needed. Mariska arranged for a pony ride for our 2 teenagers and she was available for our needs. Julien managed to clean our mess in the mornings always with a smile and even managed to bake a delicious banana loaf and a wonderful bread. All in all a highly recommendable place. Thank you all at Prinskraal for a successful reunion with the family.
