Self Catering Accommodation

Retiro has three bedrooms. On the ground floor you'll find a bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. On this floor you'll also find a compact space equipped for both hanging clothes and housing a washing machine. It is important to take note, that the house has no TV.

The first floor of the house boasts two elegantly appointed bedrooms, each with a comfortable Queen-size bed and stunning scenic views. The second bathroom on this level is complete with a shower, ensuring a revitalizing experience for all guests.

The open plan living area seamlessly merges a charming living room featuring a cozy fireplace with a delightful dining area accommodating up to nine people, making it an ideal setting for socializing and entertaining. Adjacent to this inviting space, you'll find a well-equipped kitchen equipped with a dishwasher and a coffee machine.

Wi-Fi is provided as well as beach towels and braai facilities. The patio features an outdoor dining area. The balcony offers unparalleled views of the ocean and mountains.

The home is fitted with a solar system and heat pump geyser, ensuring the functionality of all amenities except for the stove, oven, and the geyser on the ground floor during loadshedding.

Attractions

Hermanus is a seaside town southeast of Cape Town, in South Africa's Western Cape Province. It's known as a whale-watching destination. Beaches include Voëlklip Beach and the broad Grotto Beach, overlooking Walker Bay. The Old Harbour Museum is a site encompassing the old harbour, a fishermen's village and the Whale House Museum. The latter has informative displays and a suspended skeleton of a whale.
