Issey118 is a holiday cottage in Stanford that is perfect for a weekend getaway for up to four guests.

The cottage has two spacious bedrooms, one furnished with a King-size bed and the other is furnished with twin beds. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, bath, toilet and double basins. There is also a dressing room.

The second room has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin.

There is a sunny open plan living area with comfortable seating, a dining table, a fully equipped kitchen and an authentic wood fired pizza oven. Not only is this oven used for pizzas, but also for bread baking, slow roasting or for casseroles and soups. It's the highlight of winter weekends in the country.

Free Wi-Fi is provided but there is no TV.

Outside there is a gorgeous veranda, an exquisite garden and a covered braai area. There is undercover parking for two vehicles and enough space to park a trailer or boat.

The area

Stanford is a scenic 1.5 hour drive from Cape Town. A pretty river village halfway between the whales in Hermanus and the Great White sharks in Gansbaai.
