Royal Albatros offers a self catering holiday apartment with unrestricted views of Walker Bay. There is only fynbos and rocks in between. This is the ideal spot to come and relax with peace and the awesome beauty of nature all around you.

The apartment sleeps five guests and has two bedrooms. Enjoy whale and dolphin spotting right from your bed.

The apartment sleeps five guests and has two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a Queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower. The second bedroom has two single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a large shower. There is also a sleeper couch in the lounge for a fifth guest.

The living area has a TV with full bouquet DStv, a heater and a fan. The kitchenette is stocked with all necessary utensils, a small fridge, microwave, two plate stove and bar stools. There is also a guest toilet. Outside on the covered patio area you will find patio furniture, a gas braai and a splash pool for the guests.

The entrance to the apartment is down 35 comfortable, wide stairs on the outside of the house.

Location

During the whale season, June to November, guests can enjoy the sight of the Southern Right whales arriving to mate and breed in the Walker Bay.

There is a tidal pool and the Stanford Cove is an ideal place for small children to swim and play on the grass banks. This is all within walking distance as are many walking and hiking trails. Local fishing boats are a common sight on the ocean and the sunsets are just awesome.

Gansbaai is world renowned for their shark diving trips. This is less than 8km from this property. There are also several good restaurants, offering a wide variety of food. A number of wine tasting vineyards are in the region as well as beer tasting at Birkenhead.

Beaches are Uilenskraalmond (9km) and Hermanus's Blue flag (40km).

Comfortable accommodation with a superb view across the bay from Gansbaai to the Hermanus/Onrus area. The flat is very nicely furnished, has very comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen, electrical back-up during Eskom load-shedding and excellent internet service. Be aware before booking, however, that access is via outside stairs with no handrail from the parking area to the flat on the lowest level of the building, which anyone with physical limitations might find challenging.
