Lang Elsie's Kraal Rest Camp in the Bontebok National Park accommodates guests in different units. Lang Elsie's Kraal Rest Camp is located approximately six kilometers from Swellendam. Due to the size of the park, guests are easily able to drive around it within a few hours and view many different wildlife species.
The Bontebok Rest Camp (Lang Elsie's Kraal), situated on the banks of the Breede River, is the first rest camp in South African National Parks to be built according to a "Touching the Earth Lightly" design.
Named after a Khoe-Khoe Chieftain who lived there with her clan in the 18th century, the camp provides pristine scenery of the park, Breede River and Langeberg Mountains - a perfect rest stop for visitors.
