Potters Shed Cottage is located on Rivergate Guest Farm, a working farm on the banks of the Klein River, just 2,3km from Stanford. The farm offers accommodation in cottages situated in and around landscaped gardens and are in close proximity to farm animals including alpacas, chickens and miniature donkeys.

The Potter’s Shed Cottage comfortably accommodates 4 guests in two exquisitely decorated bedrooms, each featuring a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom.

The living areas are made up by a fully-equipped kitchen, and open-plan dining area and a living space warmed by a fire in the cooler months of the year.

Open up glass doors onto a wide patio complete with comfortable sitting areas, swings, a sunny daybed and a built-in braai. The cottage is surrounded by private landscaped gardens and a wood-fired pool for your exclusive use.

On Site Facilities

Within the landscaped gardens there is vegetable garden which supplies the Eatery, the various meal baskets we offer as well as a farm shop/deli. The Eatery is open on Fridays and Saturdays for lunch. The food baskets and charcuterie boards are available on request to be enjoyed on the farm and while relaxing at your cottage. Guests have access to the river for fishing, swimming, canoeing or SUPing.

The heart of the village boasts an original market square, a village green and a miscellany of shops and places to eat.
