About Perivoli Lagoon House

Perivoli Lagoon House offers Cape Overberg accommodation in a stunning, isolated, 140ha wilderness of colourful Fynbos biome. The villa is a stone's throw from the Klein River lagoon with panoramic views of the lagoon and the majestic Klein River Mountains. It is the unusual nature of the Lagoon – the fact that it is fed by freshwater from the Klein River but backfilled most years with saltwater from the Ocean when the sand dunes at its head breach – that explains its unusual ecosystem and which makes it such an extraordinary place to visit.

Accommodation

Perivoli Lagoon House is exclusively for sole use and has a dedicated housekeeper (daily laundry and housekeeping), dedicated private Nature Guide, Host, Chef and Butler.

The villa has four en-suite bedrooms. The King-size beds can be converted to twin beds on request. The en-suite bathrooms have a bath and shower, as well as underfloor heating. Each room has a fireplace. Wi-Fi is accessible in all the rooms.

The kitchen is equipped with a fully interactive designer kitchen with separate sculler room and laundry room. There is a main lounge and dining area. The entertainment and living areas are free flowing. A wood combustion and eco fireplace in the living room provided a gracious retreat on chilly evenings.

The house has an outdoor living and a private heated rim-pool. The only dwellings in view are those on the opposite side of the Lagoon.

Kayaks and Mountain bikes are available on the property, There is a private open 4x4 Safari vehicle for excursions to the adjacent Walkerbay Nature Reserve. Tailormade nature-based activities, beach excursions and Fynbos adventures are available to enjoy at your leisure.
