Stamford on Sea is a luxurious, multi-level holiday home in Onrus, Hermanus. The home is a stone's throw away from Davies Pool, walking distance from Onrus Beach and commands spectacular views over Walker Bay.

Self Catering Accommodation

Stamford on Sea boasts three spacious en-suite bedrooms and a bunk bedroom on the first floor. Two of the bedrooms have Queen-size beds and the other bedroom has twin beds. The en-suite bathrooms are fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. There are also two guest toilets.

The first floor has a spacious lounge, games area with full size pool table that converts into a table tennis table. A compact gym room with a weight machine, treadmill, rowing machine, and sit-up bench. And a full kitchen with laundry and scullery. The lounge opens up onto a magnificent pool deck and built-in braai.

The second floor has a full kitchen and scullery area, dining area, lounge with inside braai, dedicated TV room with surround sound and a full-sized bar area.

Ground floor is the double garage and nanny's room. A lift connects all floors however there is a staircase for those looking to add to their daily steps. Please be aware that the elevator is currently operational; however, we kindly advise our guests to avoid using it since it lacks a back-up power source.

The large garden has an artificial surface putting and chipping green for the golf enthusiast and a lovely fountain that attracts the local birdlife. A wonderful home to enjoy your vacation in luxury.

The home is equipped with gas stoves and inverter that powers the lights and plugs in the Pajama lounge on the second floor.

Attractions

Hermanus is a seaside town southeast of Cape Town, in South Africa’s Western Cape Province. It's known as a whale-watching destination. Beaches include Voëlklip Beach and the broad Grotto Beach, overlooking Walker Bay. The Old Harbour Museum is a site encompassing the old harbour, a fishermen's village and the Whale House Museum. The latter has informative displays and a suspended skeleton of a whale.
