About Highlands Road Estate
The Highlands Road Estate is a small, family owned and managed estate in the beautiful Elgin valley. Stop by for a little bit of wine tasting and while you're there stay and enjoy a bite to eat for lunch at the small restaurant on site.
The wine making philosophy on the estate is one that ensures the integrity of the true character of the vineyards and brings out the best in what nature is offering.
The estate was purchased in 2004 and soon there were over 10 hectares of vines planted, with a large portion of these being Sauvignon Blanc. There are also smaller areas of Semillon, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The cellar is able to produce up to 160 tons, with grapes being brought in from other vineyards in the region.
There is a range of wines available for both tasting and purchase at the tasting centre.
