The Butterfly Villa offers spacious, character-filled self-catering accommodation in the picturesque coastal village of Pringle Bay, nestled within the beautiful Kogelberg Biosphere. Located approximately 500 metres from the beach, village shops and restaurants, the villa enjoys panoramic views of the ocean, village and surrounding mountains.

Ideal for couples, families and groups, the property features two private ground-floor suites, the Glass Suite and the Family Suite, which can be booked individually or together for exclusive use of the entire guest floor. With private Jacuzzis, inviting outdoor spaces and comfortable indoor entertainment areas, The Butterfly Villa is a wonderful choice for a relaxing coastal getaway throughout the year.

Accommodation

The Butterfly Villa comprises two self-catering suites, each offering its own private living spaces and outdoor entertainment areas. The Glass Suite is a compact, open-plan studio ideal for couples, with a queen-size bed, en-suite bathroom and kitchenette equipped for light self-catering. Additional sleeping space is available for up to two small children on pop-out mattresses. The suite includes free Wi-Fi, a smart TV with premium channels and streaming services, heating and air conditioning. Doors open onto a spacious private patio overlooking the garden, with ocean and mountain views, outdoor seating, privacy blinds, braai facilities and a private Jacuzzi.

The larger Family Suite accommodates up to six guests in three bedrooms, with additional sleeping space for two guests on a double sleeper couch in the lounge. Two bedrooms have queen-size beds, while the third features a bunk bed with two single beds, suitable for children. The suite offers a shared bathroom with a shower and basin, as well as a separate guest toilet.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas stove, oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, washer-dryer and other essential appliances. The spacious open-plan lounge and dining area features comfortable seating, an indoor fireplace, board games, free Wi-Fi and a smart TV with premium entertainment channels. Outside, guests can enjoy a large covered patio and lounge area, gas braai, fire pit, privacy blinds and a private 10-seater Jacuzzi, all complemented by sweeping ocean and mountain views.

When both suites are booked together, guests enjoy exclusive use of the entire guest floor, comprising four bedrooms, additional lounge sleeping space, two Jacuzzis, two patios, a full kitchen and a kitchenette, and generous indoor and outdoor entertainment areas.

Facilities

Facilities at The Butterfly Villa include complimentary Wi-Fi, smart TVs with premium entertainment channels and streaming services, heating and air conditioning, and gas cooking facilities. Both suites offer private outdoor areas with braai facilities and Jacuzzis, while the Family Suite also features an indoor fireplace, covered patio, gas braai and firepit.

The property has a garden and secure off-street parking behind a gated entrance and electric fence, as well as smoke and security alarm systems. Operating approximately 90% off-grid with solar power, the villa offers added protection against loadshedding.

The guest accommodation is predominantly single-level, with only one small step at the entrance. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement.
