About Segway Adventure Park
The Segway Adventure park provides a fun and unique day out. Situated on the Kogelberg reserve in Grabouw, which is the first biosphere in the world, you are able to observe the most unusual plants found on earth as well as a diverse range of animals. The scenery around the area is breathtaking and taking a Segway tour is the best way to take in the beauty around you. Training is provided before setting off on a tour to ensure you are comfortable operating these amazing personal transporters.
Glide your way though the Single track forest trail which will take approximately 1 hour to complete. The route has been altered and arranged to allow for a variety of terrain and multiple routes to make your trail more exciting through the forest.
The Lakeview trail is also very popular and is a little longer taking about 2 hours to get through. Here you have the opportunity of climbing steep inclines to a great look out spot with a view over the Eikenhof Dam and Elgin Valley. The trail will take you through pine forests to its highest point and then back to water level, along the lakes edge to a variety of fantastic picnic places where you can stop and enjoy some lunch and to a few little beaches.
Regret no children under 13 may operate a Segway.
