About Porcupine Grill at Porcupine Hill
Situated on a 220-hectare property, the Grill at Porcupine Hills Olive Farm is a grill with a difference, boasting stunning views of the mountains and unforgettable food. With fireplaces inside and out, the Grill can be enjoyed year round.
First course options include the roasted beetroot salad on a bed of Mache with haricots verts, roasted walnuts, braised leeks and fresh chevre; or the warm poached egg salad with mixed baby lettuces, bacon lardons, croutons and gorgonzola. Sound enticing? Try the second course options of roasted free range chicken with sage, served with fingerling potatoes and braised leeks or the grilled Karoo lamb chops with roasted baby potatoes and green peas with mint. The Cape salmon poached with herbs in parchment, and served with baby vegetable cous cous sounds like a melt-in-your-mouth delectable experience.
Not ones to end quietly, the Porcupine Grill offer a decadent dessert menu with delights like berry Pavlova with almond meringue; apple tartlets on puff pastry with apricot glaze; home-made ice cream and berries with homemade ice-cream and crepes with lime sugar and caramelized gooseberries
