About Stettyn Cellar
North of Villiersdorp, below the eastern side of the Klein Drakenstein Mountains, is a place where Black Eagles soar and where the heart of this country side welcomes visitors with open arms.
When free burghers Cloete and Radyn left the Cape to move inland in 1714, they were granted the Stettyn farm. It was only in 1963 that the cellar was built with more experienced winemaking farms Jonkersrivier and De Hoek being the main sources of production. They restored the Cape Dutch homestead dating back to 1777 which is now a National Monument. The Botha family has owned the estate since 1818 for eight generations. 364 hectares are under vine and most of their wines are sold in bulk to First Cape and exported. They have a Millstone Range which are great affordable wines and Signature Range which is made up of wood matured wines with an aging potential.
They offer the following wines Stone Red NV, Millstone Sauvignon Blanc 2012, Millstone Chenin Blanc 2012, Stettyn Signature Reserve, Shiraz &Cabernet Sauvignon 2009, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz.
