Self Catering Accommodation

Pepper Tree holiday cottage in Robertson is one of the oldest buildings on the farm and is nestled under the shade of a sprawling pepper tree.

This one-bedroom romantic cottage is furnished with a Queen-size bed and a bathroom fitted with a large bath, toilet and basin.

There is a fully-equipped kitchen with a fridge, gas-cooker and microwave. The sitting area has an open fireplace and French doors that lead out onto a shaded stoep.

The plunge-pool leads off the stoep and there is a braai area which is very private. From the protected stoep you can look down the Tierhoek Valley and up into the majestic Laangeberg Mountains. Enjoy starlit nights in a peaceful setting.

Activities & Attractions

On the farm you can go walking and hiking. There are various paths you can use to hike up into the mountains or walk around the farm. Maps of the area are available for your pleasure, in each cottage.

You are welcome to go mountain biking around the farm, though there are no designated cycle routes. Go birdwatching, so bring your binoculars and you are likely to spot the Black Eagle, Jackal buzzard and plenty of sunbirds and so on. Farm animals include cows, sheep, pigs and donkeys. Wildlife include tortoises, buck, hares, guineafowl, baboons and others.
