Duikersdrift is a working farm in the age-old Cape tradition, with a small vineyard and olive orchard and paddocks with horses, donkeys and amazing birdlife. Visitors to the Cape Winelands guesthouse are treated to gorgeous mountain views, laid back farm-style living, and a range of on- and off-site activities that will cater to most interests.

Accommodation

Each open-plan cottage features King-size extra-length beds that can be converted to a twin configuration. The en-suite bathrooms feature a freestanding bath, a walk-in rain shower and antique vanity stand with single basin, as well as a private closed toilet. Bathroom amenities are locally produced and include a hand and body wash, conditioning shampoo and a body lotion.

Amenities include air-conditioning with dual cooling and heating functions, a remote controlled ceiling fan, wood-burning heater, minibar fridge, tea and coffee making facilities (including French press), Smart TV, high speed Wi-Fi, adaptor plugs, USB power sockets, small safe (laptop size), hairdryer and umbrellas.

Breakfast and Dining

Breakfast is included and served each morning at the Obiqua Restaurant. Lunch and dinner can be ordered at an additional charge. Obiqua is a family friendly farmstyle restaurant in the age-old winelands tradition. A contemporary menu uses the freshest ingredients with a farm to table philosophy defining dishes with a creative flair. Our modern a-la-carte menu features international cuisine and is designed to ensure there is something for everyone. Our wood-burning pizza oven produces delicious Italian-style pizzas.

On Site Activities

While on the farm guests can enjoy mountain biking and hiking along the farm trails. The variety of habitats on the farm make it a haven for birds, from grassland to wetland species and the raptors above. We have rods for your use if you enjoy catch and release fishing.
