We are situated in Wolseley and well placed between Tulbagh, 20km away and Ceres, 10km in the other direction.

Accommodation

Our bouquet of accommodation is situated on a working fruit farm, on the banks of the source of the Breede River and surrounded by breathtaking mountain and orchard views.

The self-catering cottage is nestled amongst the orchards adjacent to the river on White Bridge Farm, while the two guest rooms are in a separate building close to the main homestead. The rooms each have an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The rooms have a fridge, microwave, TV with satellite channels, desk, Wi-Fi, hairdryer and seating area. One of the rooms has a fireplace and both rooms have fans.

The farm produces world class plums and nectarines for the export market and is a mere 90 minute drive from Cape Town, approachable through various beautiful mountain pass drives.

There is a restaurant across the road from the farm, as well as a farm stall and basic needs at the Creative Hub across the road.

Attractions

Wolseley stands at the foot of the spectacular Mostertshoek mountain with its twin peaks that can be clearly seen from Newlands Cricket ground. If you stand on top of this mountain on a clear day, you can clearly see the shoreline of Table Bay Harbour. Our mountains are not only a haven for cyclists, and outdoor extremists, but the well-known Witels hike brings guests year after year in the summer season to enjoy this paradise.

There are a huge number of birds for enthusiasts and there are many good wineries in the area to visit for lovers of the grapes. Wolseley is noted for being situated on a watershed, meaning that rain falling on our mountains can flow one way into the Berg River and towards the West coast or into the Breede and out towards the South East coast.
