Sunbird Cottage offers self catering on a 65h working farm in the Breede River Valley, at the foot of the Witzenberg Mountains. Located between the towns of Tulbagh and Ceres, it is the perfect place for an authentic country experience.

Self Catering Accommodation

Sunbird Cottage Holiday Cottage in Wolseley has one bedroom furnished with a Queen-size bed. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. Complimentary shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are provided.

The cottage has a well-equipped, spacious kitchen that contains a fridge, a microwave, a stove, a dishwasher and washing machine. Dishwasher detergent and liquid supplied. The open-plan living area features a lounge that boasts a large built-in fireplace.

The living area leads out to the veranda, which offers a built-in braai, a wood fired hot tub and stunning views of the farm and surrounding mountains.

The cottage also offers free uncapped Wi-Fi and TV with selected satellite channels. Tea, coffee, rusks and a small milk are provided as well as one bag of wood and firelighters.

Additional wood is available to purchase. Fans are provided for summer months and hot water bottles for the winter. An inverter ensures that there is no loadshedding.

Pets

Well-behaved pets are welcome by arrangement. Pets owners must adhere to rules as agreed upon at time of booking.

Area Information

Wolseley is a small town in the upper Breede River Valley region of the Western Cape province of South Africa. Birdwatching and Game watching on the farm, remember your binoculars. Horse Riding, Zip Lining, Mountain Bike Trails and Wine Farms are all in the area. Children can enjoy feeding farm animals at a neighbouring farm.
