Situated off the beaten path on a 550 hectare farm in the Touws River Valley, Kudukloof is a double-storey, off-the-grid chalet which can accommodate 12 adults and four children. The chalet boasts a splash pool, wood-fired hot tub and a fire pit boma with BBQ/braai facilities. The homestead offers the ultimate seclusion with spectacular Milky Way nights and sweeping valley views.

Self Catering Accommodation

Kudukloof is a self catering holiday home in Touws River with seven bedrooms, six of which are furnished with King-size beds and one room has two sets of bunk beds for children. There are three bathrooms, one fitted with a shower, toilet and basin, one fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin and the other is fitted with a bath, overhead shower, toilet and basin. Towels and bathroom amenities are provided.

The spacious living area is fully tiled and comfortably furnished with couches, easy chairs and a dining table to enjoy family meals at together. There is a large fireplace which will keep the lodge toasty during the cold winter months. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering and includes a stove, oven, fridge, kettle, toaster as well as cutlery, crockery and glassware.

Kudukloof opens to a large deck which was a splash pool, wood-fired hot tub and a fire pit boma with BBQ/braai facilities. The deck boasts magnificent views of the surrounding countryside.

Activities and Attractions

Touws River is a small railway town of 6,800 people. Located on the banks of the Touws River, the town is 160kms from Cape Town. Activities include game viewing from horseback Aquila Private Game Reserve, exploring the Drie Kuilen Nature Reserve and testing your nerve on the many 4x4 routes. Slightly further afield are hiking trails, wine tasting at De Doorns Cellar and going on the Montagu Tractor Trip.
