Self Catering Accommodation

Bergsicht Ruby Star is a self-catering farm cottage in Tulbagh that is well equipped and can comfortably accommodate four guests.

The main bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and air-conditioned, and there are two further single beds in the open plan living area. All beds are provided with premium linen and electric blankets, and in summer a free-standing fan is made available to regulate the temperature in the living room. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, bath and sink and there is a separate toilet.

The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge/freezer, gas stove, counter-oven and microwave. The open plan living area has a central dining table and a comfortable seating area with a Jetmaster fireplace and a flat-screen TV equipped with DStv accessories - guests only need to bring their own DStv decoder, smart card, power cables and remote control.

Outside there is a sheltered patio with built-in BBQ and in the cottage garden is an outdoor wood fire heated tub.

The area boasts a variety of exciting activities for the more energetic and those wanting a more leisurely break away. Take a scenic horse ride though the many trails in the winelands or a tractor trip with a difference and a few interesting stops along the way. Sample olives on a nearby farm or pick your own fruit in season. There are many delectable restaurants and plenty wine tasting hotspots.
