The Steenbok Mountain Cabin is a self-catering, two-bedroom wooden log cabin located on a private residential farm estate in the Witzenberg Mountains. It comfortably accommodates up to four guests and serves as an excellent choice for those seeking a peaceful escape from the demands of city life.

Self-Catering Accommodation

Located within the Witzenberg Game Park, the Steenbok Mountain Cabin provides a serene countryside retreat with sweeping mountain views in the Tulbagh region, approximately 6 km from Wolseley. The setting is well suited to couples or solo travellers who value privacy, fresh air, and direct engagement with the surrounding natural environment.

The thatched cabin accommodates up to four guests across two loft-style bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom is fitted with a double bed and features an en-suite bathroom equipped with a shower, basin, and toilet. The second bedroom contains two single beds, while the shared bathroom offers a bath, basin, and toilet. Bed linen and bath towels are supplied for guest convenience, although visitors are expected to bring their own swimming towels.

The kitchen is fully equipped to support self-catering stays and includes a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and facilities for making tea and coffee. A washing machine is also provided for added practicality during longer visits.

The living and dining areas are comfortably furnished, offering a welcoming space to relax and enjoy meals. For entertainment, the cabin includes a television, while a fireplace and air-conditioning ensure year-round comfort. Complimentary Wi-Fi access is also available for guests.
