The Golden Terraces comprise of 17 Cape Dutch style chalets with brick paved driveways, and located adjacent to the vineyards and fruit orchards. These cottage style chalets each sleep up to four people. Each chalet has two bedrooms and a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, open plan dining area and lounge with a cosy fireplace – perfect for chilly winter evenings. Five of the units’ bathrooms are equipped with a shower, while the other 12 have both a bath and a shower. The large private patio leading off the living area incorporates a spacious built in braai, positioned under retractable awnings to protect you from all year round sunshine while providing outstanding views of the surrounding mountains, orchards and vineyards.

Our top of the range Villas, nestled between the towering mountains and the far embankment of the Keisie River offer guests luxuriously private accommodation overlooking the resort. The riverfront Villas look onto the flowing water, bird sanctuaries and feeding area while the remaining Villas enjoy beautifully landscaped rear gardens reaching into the peaceful mountain scenery. Expect waterfowl to stroll up to your chalet and throughout your gardens! These seven Villas sleep up to four people, each with two bedrooms; two luxury bathrooms with bath, shower and wall mounted hairdryer. The main bedroom has its own en-suite patio for morning breakfast, while the large patio leading off the lounge has built in braai (barbecue) facilities. All furnishings are top quality and the kitchen is fully equipped. Heating and cooling air-conditioners throughout and a fireplace in the heart of the open plan dining area and lounge allow for perfect temperature whether it is the height of summer or a chilly winter evening. The Villas have their own privately located swimming pool overlooking the miniature waterfalls of the Keisie River which flows through the resort.

A fully equipped kitchen with open plan dining area and lounge with heating and cooling air-conditioning throughout make the small Plettenberg chalet great value family accommodation. The 56 Plettenberg chalets are located in idyllic garden surroundings. The clever use of trees and shrubs creates intimacy and provides privacy in the communal gardens and each chalet has its own thatched umbrella with built in table and braai (barbecue) facilities.
