Honeybee Cottage offers Montagu accommodation on Glen Eden Farm. Glen Eden Farm is a small holding of 50 hectares, situated on the famous Route 62, 14km from the charming town of Montagu. This is the ideal place for a peaceful break away.

Self Catering Accommodation

The Honeybee Cottage is a self catering holiday cottage in Montagu sleeping four guests. The cottage has two bedrooms, each furnished with one Queen-size bed. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. Towels and linen are provided as is everything you need for a comfortable self-catering break.

The kitchen is equipped with a 4-plate gas stove, an electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee- and tea-making facilities, crockery and cutlery. There are an open-plan lounge and dining room with ample seating where guests can enjoy their meals together. The living area has a Dover stove, a closed wood-burning fireplace and a smart TV.

It has a private garden with a terrace, dining furniture, braai facilities and a splash pool.

Pets

Pets are welcome if arranged at the time of booking and at the owners discretion. Pets are not allowed on the furniture or in the splash pools.

Experience

There are a number of walks around the farm, although think of the farm as your own during your stay and wander.

There is a dam with black bass and tilapia for fishing, the area has a picnic bench and fire pit should you wish to braai there.

We have a touch farm with alpacas, goats, rabbits, turkeys, chickens, geese and ducks, which you're welcome to walk around at any time. You may even get a visit from our gardening crew of sheep and donkeys who are roaming around.

If you want to get up close and personal to any of the animals, we can arrange for you to join us to feed them.
