Situated on the old Cape Dutch farm of Eikenbosch, Mountain Oaks Organic Winery is gem worth discovering. Pieter Du Toit kept his cattle near the area which is now named the Du Toit’s Kloof pass. A settlement was formed and in the late 1700’s the farm was established.
The origins have the winery can be found when glancing at the majestic old oaks found all around the farm. You’ll still find the Cape Dutch House there and over the years, he has added a wine cellar, storage rooms and stables.
