The Klue family has been the proud name behind Wolvendrift for more than a century and continues to produce red and white wines for a local and international market. The entire farm spans 100 hectares, of which more than two-thirds is dedicated to white wine grapes.
Nestled in the Robertson Valley and on the Breede River’s banks, Wolvendrift enjoys an idyllic spot in which to produce some award-winning wines (including a dessert wine, Muscadel). The Klue family maintains that it is the tradition of taking one’s time; never hurrying the production process; that gives each of the Wolvendrift wines its renowned quality.
The natural abundance all around the farm offers visitors plenty in the way of things to do and see during their time in the Western Cape. Hiking, cycling, bird-watching and fishing are just some of the ways to while away time under the warm South African sun.
