Strawberry fields and scarecrows aplenty await pickers in the Cape summer season. Warm weather and leisurely fruit picking makes for a fun family outdoor activity. Packed with Vitamin C and a sweet treat family and friends feast in the fields until hearts are content and lips are stained red.

Pile up your basket and only pay per kilogram for the strawberries you take home. Mooiberge ('beautiful mountains') Farmstall aptly named is set amongst beautiful Stellenbosch mountain ranges and vineyard landscapes so that putting hand to soil is a strawberry and scenery abundant exercise. For the less enthusiastic pickers strawberries are for sale in the farmstall housed in the 1909 historic building along with refreshments, snacks, preserves, nuts, dried fruit and local wine.
