A perfect base for those wishing to explore the area on foot and in which to experience the "Grand Tour" that only the Franschhoek Valley can provide.

For the wine aficionado there are ever 40 vineyards in this region, ranging from regal and rustic through to branded and boutique, one as beautiful as the next, all of which produce astonishingly good wine. Franschhoek Wine Tram allows an ease of access for those not in the mood to drive. Nearby Mont Rochelle Nature reserve and the abundant countryside ensure the best hiking trails, golf and mountain biking experience.
