The Purple Windmill is a Cape Winelands guest house located on a quaint boutique wine estate. It is a fully operating farm with Vineyards, Lemons and Rooibos Tea, as well as Roll on Lawn. Rooibos tea is also a first in this area.

Accommodation

The Purple Windmill rooms have their own touch of uniqueness from the headboard to the scatter cushions. The bathrooms are open plan with a shower. Tea / coffee facilities are available in the rooms and complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, milk pods and rusks are provided. Each room also has a portable fan.

The Area

There is plenty to do in the area. In the first place you are only 14 km from Stellenbosch, 16 km from Paarl and roughly 20 km from towns like Wellington.

Possibly one of the most popular attractions in Klapmuts is Butterfly World, great if you have children, and similar little towns of Simondium and Pniel make wonderful drives. Essentially though you are here to take advantage of the wine estates around Paarl, Stellenbosch and Fransschoek, and Klapmuts places you right in the midst of these.
