Located in the quaint village of Franschhoek and within walking distance of the main street, restaurants and shops, Le Petit Paris is ideally situated to explore the delights that Franschhoek has to offer. Relax in the tranquil atmosphere created by lavender walkways, fountains and lush green trees.

Bask in the sun next to the sparkling blue pool or just relax under cool green vines. Winter months offer a warm, cosy lounge overlooking the garden to catch up on some reading and much needed rest.

Accommodation

Le Petit Paris offers accommodation in Franschhoek in beautifully decorated bedrooms that offer something different to make them special, from private balconies to cosy bay windows or mountain views.

All rooms are comfortable, stylish and have sitting areas and en-suite bathrooms. All rooms have a Smart TV with Netflix and the lounge area has full DStv. Room facilities include heated towels rails, bathroom amenities, air conditioning, hair dryers and a tea / coffee station.

Activities and Attractions

Franschhoek, a village well known for the cultural influences the Huguenots brought during their immigration in the 17th and 18th centuries, is surrounded by dramatic mountains and lush green vineyards as far as the eye can see. Nestled in one of the most beautiful valleys in South Africa, you will find an endless supply of activities for all ages. Breathe in the fresh mountain air while relaxing at any of the sidewalk cafés and bistros situated under lush green trees, enjoy relaxing lunches at any of the prestigious wine farms or top-class restaurants. Wine tasting is available seven days a week.

While meandering down the main road you will find unique shops; beautiful handmade jewellery, art, clothing, kitchen ornaments, local spices and oils are only some of the treasures on offer. Visit the French Huguenot Museum and the French Huguenot Monument with its manicured gardens. Other attractions area Franschhoek Walking Tours, Franschhoek Scootours, Franschhoek Motor Museum, hiking and mountain bike trails.

What is loadshedding? It refers to the temporary suspension of electricity provided by Eskom, South Africa's electricity provider, to reduce consumption and thereby the load on the national grid.
