About The Rock Lodge

The Rock Lodge is located at Wagyu Mountain Lodge at the foot of the Klein Drakenstein Mountain in Paarl, a working Wagyu cattle farm in the beautiful Cape Winelands.

Self Catering Accommodation

The Rock Lodge is a gorgeous lodge, air-conditioned and furnished with a Queen-size bed. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, bath, toilet and double vanity.

The lounge area has a double sleeper couch. The full self-catering kitchenette has all the necessities, including a bar fridge, gas stove and coffee station.

Outside is a patio, braai area and a wood-fired hot tub.

Dining

Book a Wagyu Braai at our Wagyu Restaurant with friends and family. We give you the braai, the wood, all the sides, braai broodjies and drinks. We have five outdoor braais placed at the front of our Wagyu Deli, where we welcome guests to choose their steaks in the Deli and braai them yourself.

Attractions

Paarl is the largest town in the Cape Winelands. The Wagyu Mountain Lodge is based on a farm in Paarl South, on the Drakenstein and Lustigan Road. Set against the backdrop of the Klein Drakenstein Mountain Range, the farm overlooks the sweeping valleys views of Paarl Rock, the silhouette of Table Mountain and Simonsberg mountain range.

Guests can enjoy hiking, biking, wine tasting, paragliding and the Paarl Mountain Nature Reserve.
