About Edelweiss B&B

Situated among the majestic mountains of Stellenbosch, heart of the Cape Winelands, this home away from home is the ideal place to relax after a round on the golf course or a day on the wine route. Edelweiss is a highly rated, upmarket Bed & Breakfast in the quiet residential area of Paradyskloof, Stellenbosch.

We are situated directly opposite the entrance to Stellenbosch Golf Course. Being so close to the R44, we have easy access to Techno Park (ideal for the business traveller), wine routes and the beaches of False Bay.

Edelweiss is a German name, meaning noble (edel) white (weiss). The little flower with its woolly, white leaves and yellow flower heads, grows at 2000 to 2900 m altitude and is native to the European Alps. It is the national flower of Austria and it is strictly protected in the wild (also in Switzerland and Germany).

Accommodation

Edelweiss B&B offers affordable, luxury accommodation in five newly decorated double rooms, each with a beautiful new en-suite bathroom and private entrance with security gate. All rooms have an electronic safe, ceiling fan, bar fridge, luggage racks and a heater in the bathroom. Hair dryers are available on request.

My husband, Pierre, and his colleague stayed at Edelweiss while attending a 3-day Psychology Conference at Techno Park. There were so many Guesthouses to choose from and I booked online. I was worried, because it was the first time I booked online. Well, on arrival they both phoned me to tell how impeccable Edelweiss was and how hospitable the owners were. Back home, Pierre still can't stop talking about the 5-star quality of the bathroom tiles and accessories. According to him Edelweiss is not only built perfectly, but the rooms are sheer luxury. He also fell in love with the German shepherd, who promptly and obediently followed Willi's German instructions. Apparently, for us there is only one place to stay in future - Edelweiss B&B. Thank you, Mollie. You really took good care of our loved ones.
