Located an hour out of Cape Town this magnificent 18 hole course, designed by one of South Africaís favourite sons of golfing - Gary Player, offers panoramic views of both the Breede River Valley and the surrounding Brandwacht Mountains. Grab the opportunity to get away from it all and spend your time in the tranquil and picturesque surroundings of the Worcester Golf Club.
Peter Matkovich, a course architect that needs no introduction in Southern Africa, joined forces with Gary and together they have created a unique and challenging course that borrows elements from the Biosphere, Parklands and Links formats of the game.
Already set in an exceptionally beautiful landscape, the courses many water hazards, indigenous trees and pristine grounds have accentuated the areas natural beauty. Gary Player has even gone so far as to say that what lies here in Worcester is one of the finest courses in the world.
Bring your best to Worcester because you will need it. The daring will either be rewarded or punished, but the course urges you to be bold and so whatever the outcome you will be sure that you played a game of golf.
Appropriate golf attire is required. No handicap is required unless you are entering a competition. Members only on Wednesday afternoons.
