About Westlake Golf Club
Set in the leafier of Cape Town’s suburbs and sitting with its back enclosed in the walls of the Silvermine Mountains, Westlake Golf Course has, over its many illustrious years, gained reputation as one of the Cape’s premiere courses and “must plays”.
The doglegs and towering trees, your primary enemies (for which Westlake is well known), add incredible beauty and depth to the easy-to-walk 18 hole, par 72. The natural beauty and wildlife that the surrounding mountains have added bring forth an element that most city suburb golf courses could only dream of.
Westlake has built a reputation of being the most popular golf course in Cape Town and a day spent here will quickly unveil exactly why. The club has created an atmosphere that quite literally blends the old with the new and manages, quite successfully, to get the best of both.
All are welcome to come on down and enjoy the kikuyu fairways for the day. Westlake is an incredibly playable course and golfers of all levels will it incredible rewarding, especially if accurate off the tee. Book your accommodation in Cape Town and your tee-off ahead to avoid disappointment.
An official handicap is required and of course, appropriate attire.
