The Langebaan Golf Course is located in the small seaside town of Langebaan on the semi-arid South African west coast; an area that abounds in wildlife, game and rolling lawns of intricate and colourful wildflowers. The Par 72 championship links-style course takes you on a journey of 6359m and caters to all levels of player with the club, seniors and ladies tees all being increasingly shorter. The prevailing South Easterly winds, careful bunker placement and water hazards have all been wrapped up into one exciting course designed by Gary Player.
Views over the Langebaan Lagoon extend deep into the West Coast National Park and are breath-takingly beautiful. Saldanha is also visible as is Schapen Island. The west coast is truly an unspoilt region with unique character. Golfers coming out this way are encouraged to stay the weekend in one of the many accommodation options available. The Langebaan Country Estate that houses the Golf Club has a full range of facilities and caters to any needs you may have.
Come and enjoy the signature holes, man-made lakes, natural rock formations that all work in unison over the 18 holes to provide one the most unique games you are going to play. And if it just isn’t your day on the course – there’s always to the well-stocked 19th “watering” hole where rounds can be retold the way you imagined!
Langebaan have actually quite literally added a 19th hole too, the proceeds from golfers attempting this are used to support several social upliftment programmes.
