Langebaan on the West Coast is a fun destination that’s known for watersports, thanks to its stunning lagoon. Sunnypark is here too and offers watery fun of a different kind.

This is a family-friendly fun park that has loads of water-based adventures as well as other awesome features for the little ones and their parents to enjoy. Sunnypark has:

• An indoor pool that’s heated to 35°C, which is more like a massive jacuzzi
• Trampolines
• Supertube waterslide
• Slip ‘n slide
• Putt-putt
• 18-hole mini golf
• Kiddies’ pool
• Pedal karts
• Target shooting
• Paintball
• The Kid’s Zone – where there are toys and activities
• Pool tables

All four of the pools here are heated to make them comfy throughout the year.

There are also braai areas next to the pool for families and friends to get together while they make memories in and out of the water. The park makes life vests, wood and charcoal available. Alcohol isn’t allowed in the park unless an area has been booked for a private function after hours, in which case the members of that party can bring and enjoy their own alcohol.

The indoor heated pool can be booked for private functions after hours, when all you need is to spoil yourself and those you love with an evening of non-stop fun and relaxation.

There are plenty of areas around the park that are shaded and these are fantastic for a peaceful picnic (picnic benches are scattered all around).

Sunnypark is open on school holidays, public holidays and weekends. Langebaan is only 90 minutes from Cape Town and is always a treat for a weekend away or a longer getaway that really feeds the soul.
