It is here that you will find the most popular seaside holiday destination, often referred to as "The Jewel Of The West Coast". Langebaan allows no industries to protect the town's culture as a holiday, fishing and retirement village. Also, home to the West Coast National Park which offers over 300 bird species, very popular during the flower season, (August – September) and if you are lucky you might spot a pod of whales. (October – November).

The clear water of Langebaan Lagoon is surrounded by white sandy beaches. Protected Lagoon waters and a mild climate make this the perfect place for fishing, kitesurfing, kayaking and numerous other water sports throughout the year.
