The Tin Kitchen country restaurant on the farm serves delicious local organic meat and fish dishes in and around a 300 year old barn. Shaded seating areas and beautifully tended lawns add to the relaxed, rustic atmosphere.

It was extremely wonderful, as a young kid I got to know that farm. To now walk around the farm and to the full vlei was just a wonderful experience as it brought back many memories. The Padstal staff was wonderful people as well as the personnel working on the farm. At reception everybody was helpful, and our stay was very pleasant, next time I shall bring my two pooches and rent one of the houses as that is one big bonus of the place. The rooms are large and rustic but the aircon makes it very pleasant and the peace and quiet was wonderful.
