Self Catering Accommodation

Yzperprop is a modern, ocean-facing holiday villa offering accommodation in Yzerfontein for ten guests, in five bedrooms and four bathrooms, two of which are en-suite.

The main bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and has a reading nook. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin.

The second bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The remaining three bedrooms are each furnished with a Queen-size bed and share two bathrooms fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. Linen is provided but guests will need to bring their own towels.

The open-plan living area features a stylish kitchen fully equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. A dishwasher and a washing machine are available in the separate scullery. Leading from the kitchen is an 8-seater dining table and a lounge with comfy seating and a TV which offers a full selection of DStv channels. Guests have access to complimentary Wi-Fi.

Outside the home, there is a lovely covered balcony on the top level which spoils with outdoor seating and braai facilities. Additionally, this property has direct access to a rocky beach.

The name Yzerfontein in Afrikaans means "Iron Fountain". Situated about 80km from Cape Town, the tranquil coastal village is popular for its beautiful beaches, seasonal wild flowers, renowned fishing opportunities, and its breath-taking scenery. Popular attractions include Dassen Island Lighthouse, Pearl Bay Beach, Vyge Valley Farmers Market and 16 Mile Beach.

What a beautiful place! Such awesome views, the town is amazing to stay in. Peaceful! Safe & overall excellent experience dealing with the people who managed the booking. I recommend this house to ANY family… only an hour away from Cape Town/CBD and everything you want to do with your family. Definately coming back..

We stayed there in February with some friends and it was amazing! Great space for 3 families to stay and have their own privacy within the house. Right on the beach with beautiful views from the lounge and the sound of waves crashing whilst you sleep. Only an hour away from Cape Town CBD - just enough for a perfect getaway. Highly recommend!
