About Shalom

Shalom offers accommodation for up to six guests in a double storey beach house situated close to the beach in Mosselbank, Paternoster on the West Coast. A favourite weekend getaway destination for Capetonians, Paternoster is one of the oldest towns along the West Coast and is famous for its abundance of crayfish. Paternoster is an all year round destination famous for its traditional fisherman's architecture and endless pristine sandy white beaches.

Self Catering Accommodation

Shalom is a self catering holiday home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom has a King-size bed, en-suite bathroom and a private deck with sun loungers and beach views.

The second bedroom has two single / three quarter beds and an en-suite bathroom. The third bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom.

The fully equipped kitchen has a fridge, microwave, oven and stove. The dining area has a six seater table and chairs. In the lounge area there is a fireplace, TV with full DStv and comfortable furniture.

On the sheltered patio there are table, chairs and a built in fireplace. Off street parking is available on the property.

Attractions

Activities and attractions include Beach Buggy trip along the coastline, long walks on the beaches, fishing, boat and land based cray-fishing, diving and spear fishing excursions, hiking trails, mountain biking, sea kayaking are all popular activities. Visit the nearby West Coast Fossil Park and the Cape Columbine lighthouse (the last manned lighthouse built in in 1936).

Visitors to Paternoster delight in watching whales and dolphins frolicking in the ocean (ten months of the year) and after the first spring rains fall the landscape is transformed by the millions of indigenous flowers which open and densely carpet the earth in bright bursts of colour (usually between late July and September).
