Flamingo House 21 is a self-catering holiday home in Yzerfontein in walking distance of the beach. It is perfect for a family or a group of friends and sleeps ten guests comfortably.

Self Catering Accommodation

Flamingo House 21 has five bedrooms and four bathrooms.

The main bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed. The open plan en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, twin basins and toilet. The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

Two further bedrooms are each furnished with a double bed and share a full bathroom. The fifth room is furnished with two three-quarter beds and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

The main open plan living area has a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher in the separate scullery. The dining table seats 8 guests and the comfortable lounge has a smart TV with Netflix and DStv. There is also a bar area with built in braai.

There is also a kitchenette downstairs and a lounge area with a TV and entertainment area with a pizza oven. The upper level balcony has ocean views, a built in braai, outdoor dining table and a Jacuzzi. (guests will have to notify establishment if they will be using it and it will be charged at an additional daily rate).

Situated about 80km from the restaurants and hotels in Cape Town, the tranquil coastal village is popular for its beautiful beaches, seasonal wild flowers, renowned fishing opportunities, and its picturesque scenery. Yzerfontein is a fishermans dream; famous for its snoek and crayfish.

In addition to fishing, other water sports to be enjoyed including swimming, water skiing, boating, and surfing. Nature lovers will enjoy activities like mountain biking, whale and dolphin spotting in season, bird watching, scenic drives, and day tours to the surrounding areas. During spring, fields of beautiful wild flowers add colour to the area and provide the perfect backdrop for a family or couple photo.
