The open plan living area has comfortable furniture and a TV with selected DStv channels. Guests are able to relax and enjoy while sitting in front of the indoor fireplace.
The kitchen is fully equipped and consists of everything needed for self catering. There is a two plate stove, fridge, microwave and tea / coffee making facilities.
There is a BBQ / braai area outside on the verandah.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was quaint and the huge fireplace in the kitchen/lounge amazing for a late night fire! It is also nice and close to the beach so a hop skip and a jump and you are there! My only recommendation would be to consider replacing the bedding and mattress's. But I would certainly recommend this little house!

Sonkwassie is what appears to be a fairly typical Paternoster house, parts of which has been updated over time, and it has lots of character. The living room/kitchen has a huge fireplace, the wooden floors are beautiful and the patio is a cosy family-friendly space. Unfortunately parts of the house are very dark due to smallish windows and the roof deck which could offer beautiful sea views are not usable most of the time due to the typical windy conditions on the West Coast. The house is in need of a paint though - both inside where some walls and ceilings are yellowed already and outside where it's starting to look a bit weather-beaten.
