Joyful offers a charming self-catering retreat in the coastal village of Paternoster, a historic fishing hamlet located along South Africa’s scenic West Coast. Famed for its serene ambiance reminiscent of the Mediterranean, Paternoster attracts visitors with its cobalt-blue ocean views, white-washed homes, classic fisherman-style buildings, and sweeping stretches of sandy shoreline.

Self-Catering Accommodation

This holiday home accommodates up to six guests and features three well-appointed bedrooms and two bathrooms, along with a thoughtfully designed open-plan kitchen and living area.

The main bedroom, located separately from the primary dwelling, includes a double bed and a private en-suite bathroom complete with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. Each of the additional two bedrooms also contains a double bed, while the shared guest bathroom is fitted with a bath.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with all the essentials for a self-catering stay, including a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, and a full selection of crockery and cutlery.

The dining area offers seating for four, and the inviting lounge features a built-in braai, a comfortable seating arrangement, and a flat-screen television for relaxed indoor enjoyment.

Paternoster is the kind of destination where time slows down, perfect for long lunches, afternoon naps, or simply unwinding with a book by the sea. The area is dotted with quiet beaches and peaceful coves ideal for sunbathing, dolphin- or whale-watching, or casting a line into the surf.

Come spring, particularly in August and September, the surrounding fields erupt into a spectacular floral display, blanketing the landscape in vibrant colours as wildflowers come into bloom.
