About Ysterhoutrug Picnic Site
The Ysterhoutrug picnic site should be firmly on your ‘things to do with the family’ list! You'll find this site along the R339 where wooden tables and benches invite you to make yourselves at home under a huge tree.
You will also find a few braai sites as well as expanses of grassed areas to spread your picnic blanket on.
There is also the added attraction of The White Elephant Hiking Trail which is an 8km circular hiking route. Spend the day in nature with your children, and enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounds.
