Eight Bells Mountain Inn is a 4-star owner run family resort hotel in Garden Route set in the mountains at the Foot of the Robinson Pass, in Ruiterbos, which is between Mossel Bay (35km) and Oudtshoorn (50km). The resort is set in beautiful gardens on a 160 hectare estate with a range of outdoor activities like swimming, tennis, squash, bowls, walking trails and horse riding.

Accommodation

Eight Bells Mountain Inn iffers well appointed rooms offering accommodation for 66 guests. Each bedroom is equipped with direct-dial telephone; digital safe; large flat screen television set with a bouquet of DSTV channels; tea and coffee making facilities; free WI-FI; bathroom amenities; under floor heating or wall mounted panel heaters; either ceiling fans or air-conditioning units; outside veranda's or decks.

Dining

The Oakroom Restaurant
Eight Bells offers a beautifully appointed dining room, The Oakroom Restaurant for your dining pleasure. Sticking with our old-world charm, we still use genuine silver cutlery and crisp white tablecloths and serviettes.

Following tradition we ring the bell promptly at 19:00 every evening announcing that dinner is ready to be served. We offer a full a la carte menu plus a set menu when there are more than ten guests booked. We also offer a comprehensive wine list with some excellent local wines and firm favourites from vineyards further a field.

The Bosun's Whistle Pub
Opens in the evenings from 18:00 for resident guests only and is the ideal place to have a quiet drink before or after dinner or to catch up on that important sporting event on the big screen. Apart from the excellent wines, we offer a full range of spirits, beers, ports, liquors and a few exotic brandies and whiskies.

The Lounge
Adjacent to the pub you will find our Elegantly Furnished Lounge with a fireplace lit on cooler evenings. The room includes a small library with a range of books and magazines for the reading pleasure of our in-house guests.

The Billiard Room
For guests that fancy a bit of competition there is a full size billiard table and dartboard connected to the bar. The Billiard Room was the original homestead and it still sports yellow wood floors and ceiling boards.
