The two-bedroom retreat, Oupa Gallie, is named in honour of Gallie Meyer, the founder of Vleesbaai and our esteemed great-grandfather. Positioned within easy walking distance of the beach, the home boasts expansive sea views, a traditional outdoor braai area, unlimited Wi-Fi, and access to DStv Stream, which includes the full range of SuperSport channels.

Self-Catering Accommodation

Located just a short walk from the beach, Oupa Gallie provides sweeping views of the ocean and a comfortable, self-catering stay in the heart of Vleesbaai. The house features a generous outdoor braai area, a modern kitchen fitted with all essential appliances, a washing machine for added convenience, and fast, uncapped Wi-Fi.

Panoramic sea views can be enjoyed from the main bedroom, the living area, the kitchen, and the sheltered stoep where the braai is situated.

Designed to accommodate up to four guests, the house offers two well-appointed bedrooms. The main bedroom contains a double bed and enjoys a direct view of the sea, while the second bedroom is fitted with two single beds. Both rooms provide adequate cupboard space for personal belongings. Positioned between the bedrooms, the bathroom includes a spacious walk-in shower, a toilet, and a washbasin.

In the living area, guests will find a smart TV offering access to DStv Stream and Disney Plus, with the option to log into additional streaming services using personal accounts. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with an electric stove and oven, a microwave, a fridge with a small freezer compartment, a kettle, and a toaster. A front-loading washing machine, along with an iron and ironing board, completes the offering for longer stays.

Although Vleesbaai is widely regarded as a peaceful and secure coastal village, guests are advised to exercise standard precautions by locking doors and windows when leaving the property.
