Libertas Farmhouse is a spacious and lovingly renovated 150 year-old farmstead offering accommodation in Hoekwil with great views over a dam and the Outeniqua mountains.
Libertas is located close enough to all the best tourist attractions the area has to offer. We are conveniently located 14km from the town of Sedgefield and 15km from Wilderness village.

Self Catering Accommodation

Libertas Farmhouse is a holiday home in Hoekwil sleeping six adults and four children.
There are three bedrooms downstairs, two are furnished with a Queen-size bed and one is furnished with two single beds. The open plan loft area is furnished with four single beds. There are two bathrooms, one is fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin and the other is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. There is also an outdoor shower for the more adventurous.

The spacious living area has a fireplace and a TV with a selection of DStv channels available. The kitchen is fully equipped for your self catering stay. There are three patio areas and a choice of braai spots.

There is a playground for kids with a jungle gym and swings from the bluegum trees, covered parking garage and a volleyball net etc.

The Area

The area is a huge attraction for any nature-lover. Hiking, bird-watching, paragliding, canoeing, surfing, whale-watching and mountain-biking are just some of the activities this area is well known for. Visits to the dairy and feeding the calves are always an exciting experience for the kids. Guests are close to all the tourist activities but are able to retreat to the quiet and tranquil surrounds of Libertas to rest and plan the next days' action.
