From here you are only 8 mins from the Knysna Lagoon, by car, then a scenic drive around the lagoon to town, 15 km from the centre of town, close to beaches and forests.

Birdsong holiday cottage in Knysna perfect for lovebirds (sleeps two).

The open plan cottage is air conditioned and is furnished with a Queen-size bed, dressed with quality linen. The en-suite bathroom is equipped with a shower, hand basins and WC.

There is a seating area and a TV with satellite channels. The fully equipped kitchenette has a two plate gas hob and small oven, a Nespresso pod coffee machine and everything else required for a comfortable stay.

Large sliding doors lead out to a deck with a table and chairs, loungers, a hammock and a gas weber braai. The large Jacuzzi overlooks the majestic views.

On Site Facilities

There is a plunge pool, which overlooks the magnificent views, for the use of all the guests. It's like a big Jacuzzi with aim flow jets and seating all around. And for the more active there is a forest trail from the cottages to the bottom of the valley.

When you book in you will find we have set up the cottage beautifully for you, with petals on the bed, arrival tea and coffee / small chocolates / bath goodies / candles / some toilet stuff / firewood and charcoal with firelighters on the deck that you can buy / daily housekeeping service /some DStv / DVD / music system.

Forest Valley Cottages has a tourist info board, in the office, with pamphlets to take and many things to do in the area, tree-top canopy tours, Elephant Park, bungee jumping, ferry and yacht cruises on the lagoon, game park visits, horse riding, visit gold mines from 1800 close-by…are but a few.
